Personal Data
“Personal Data” refers to information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier. Personal identifiers include, for example, a name, an identification number, location data, online identifiers, or one or more specific factors related to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity of that natural person.
Processing of Personal Data
“Processing of Personal Data” refers to any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or sets of personal data, whether by automated or non-automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, or any other form of making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.
Cookies
“Cookies” are small text files containing relevant information that devices used to access (computers, mobile phones, or portable devices) load through the internet browser when a site is visited by the Customer or User.
Collection and Processing of Personal Data
Sabrab processes only the personal data strictly necessary to provide information and operate its channels, according to the uses made by Users, Service Recipients, or Customers. This includes data provided by Users or Service Recipients for registering requests or obtaining information, data provided by Customers for subscribing to those channels, and data resulting from the use of services provided by Sabrab through these channels, such as access logs, queries, instructions, transactions, and other usage records.
In particular, the use or activation of certain functionalities of the channels may involve processing various direct or indirect personal identifiers, such as name, residential address, contact details, device addresses, or geographic location, whenever explicit consent is provided by the User, Service Recipient, or Customer.
In all cases, Users, Service Recipients, or Customers will always be informed of the need to access such data to use the functionalities of the channels in question.
Personal data collected by Sabrab is processed electronically, in some cases automatically, including file processing or profiling, within the framework of pre-contractual, contractual, or post-contractual relationship management with Users, Service Recipients, or Customers, in accordance with applicable national and community standards.
Purpose of Processing
All personal data processed within Sabrab’s channels is exclusively intended for providing information to Users, managing the personal data of Service Recipients deemed necessary for relationship or communication management, as well as for delivering services contracted by Customers, and, in general, for managing pre-contractual, contractual, or post-contractual relationships with Users or Customers.
Personal data collected may also, where applicable, be processed for statistical purposes, promotional or informational actions, and commercial or marketing actions, including promoting new functionalities or products and services through direct communication, whether by correspondence, email, messages, or phone calls, or any other electronic communication services.
With prior information and explicit authorization assured for these latter purposes, Users or Customers may, at any time, exercise their right to object to the use of their personal data for purposes beyond contractual relationship management, particularly for marketing purposes, sending informational communications, or inclusion in lists or informational services. To do so, they must send a written request to info@sabrab.pt according to the procedures indicated below.
Data Retention Period
Personal data will only be retained for the period necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently processed, in compliance with all applicable legal standards regarding archiving.
Use of Cookies
Sabrab may use two broad categories of “cookies”: “cookies” within online sites and “cookies” within direct electronic communication channels, ensuring in all cases that Users or Customers can deactivate them.
Sabrab uses “cookies” on its online sites to improve performance and the browsing experience of Users and Customers, increasing, on the one hand, response speed and efficiency and, on the other hand, eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information.
The use of “cookies” helps online sites recognize the devices of Users and Customers the next time they visit, and in some cases, they are essential for the functionality of the sites.
The “cookies” used by Sabrab across all its channels do not collect personal information that could identify Users or Customers. They only store generic information, such as the form or geographic location of access and how the channels are used. “Cookies” retain only information related to User and Customer preferences and do not record personal identifiers.
Users, Service Recipients, and Customers can, at any time, use the software application they use to browse the internet (the “browser”) to choose to be notified about the receipt of “cookies” or to block their entry into their system.
Regarding their intended purposes, Sabrab may, when justified, use three different types of “cookies” as follows:
(i) **Essential cookies** – Some “cookies” are essential for accessing specific areas of online channels, enabling navigation and the use of their applications, such as access to secure areas of the sites through user registration. Without these “cookies,” services that require them cannot be provided;
(ii) **Functional cookies** – These “cookies” allow the user’s navigation preferences on online sites to be remembered, so they do not need to be reconfigured and personalized each time they visit;
(iii) **Analytical cookies** – These “cookies” are used to analyze how users interact with online sites, highlighting articles or services that may be of interest to users, monitoring site performance, identifying the most popular pages, understanding the most effective linking methods between pages, or identifying why some pages generate error messages. These “cookies” are used exclusively for statistical analysis and do not collect any personal information.
Through these purposes, Sabrab can provide Users or Customers with a high-quality experience by personalizing information and offers and identifying or resolving any issues that may arise during their use.
Regarding validity, there are two types of “cookies”:
(i) **Permanent cookies** – These are stored on the devices used to access the channels (computers, mobile phones, etc.) through the browser and are used whenever Users or Customers revisit any channel. They are generally used to tailor navigation to the interests of the User or Customer, allowing Sabrab to provide a more personalized service;
(ii) **Session cookies** – These are temporary “cookies” generated and available only until the session is closed. The next time the Customer/User accesses their browser, these “cookies” will no longer be stored. The information obtained allows for session management, problem identification, and an improved browsing experience.
Users and Customers can deactivate some or all “cookies” at any time by following the instructions available in each software application used to browse the internet (“browser”). However, deactivation may result in losing access to certain functionalities of the sites.
In the context of direct electronic communication channels, Sabrab may also use “cookies” when opening different electronic communications sent, such as “newsletters” and emails, for statistical purposes – allowing the company to know whether these communications are opened and to track clicks on links or advertisements within them.
In this category of “cookies,” Users and Customers always have the option to deactivate electronic communications via the specific option available in the footer of those communications.
Data Recipients
Except in cases of compliance with legal obligations, under no circumstances will personal data of Users, Service Recipients, or Customers be shared with third parties who are not subcontracted entities or legitimate recipients. Furthermore, no communication of personal data will be made for purposes other than those mentioned above.
Analytics
When visiting our website, statistical analyses of your browsing behavior may be conducted. This is primarily done using cookies and analytics. The analysis of your browsing behavior is generally anonymous, meaning we cannot identify you from this data. You may object to or prevent this analysis by using certain tools.
Automated Data Processors
Most modern websites use external services to provide specific functionalities. These are referred to as Automated Data Processors. These services range from visitor analytics, video hosting, such as YouTube, or access to social media, such as Facebook. These third-party services collect personal data to provide functionality. Our website also uses some of these services.
Google Analytics Remarketing
The website uses Google Analytics remarketing features combined with Google AdWords cross-device capabilities. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
This feature allows audiences for promotional marketing created with Google Analytics remarketing to be linked with the cross-device capabilities of Google AdWords. This enables advertisements to be displayed based on your personal interests, identified through your previous usage and browsing behavior on one device (e.g., your mobile phone) on other devices (e.g., a tablet or computer).
After providing your consent, Google will associate your browsing history from the web and the application with your Google Account for this purpose. In this way, any device logged into your Google Account can use the same personalized promotional message.
To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated IDs of visitors temporarily associated with our Google Analytics data to define and create target audiences for cross-device ad promotion.
You can permanently disable remarketing and cross-device targeting by turning off personalized advertising in your Google Account.
The aggregation of data collected in your Google Account is based exclusively on your consent, which you can provide or withdraw from Google under Art. 6 GDPR. For data collection operations not processed in your Google Account (e.g., because you do not have a Google Account or have objected to processing), the data collection is based on Art. 6 GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing anonymous visitor behavior for promotional purposes.

Google AdWords and Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).
As part of Google AdWords, we use conversion tracking. When you click on an ad published by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser stores on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the visitor. If the visitor visits certain pages of the website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the website can recognize that the visitor clicked on the ad and proceeded to that page.
Each Google AdWords advertiser has a different cookie. Thus, cookies cannot be tracked using the website of another Google AdWords advertiser. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Advertisers are informed about the total number of users who clicked on their ads and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, advertisers do not obtain information that could personally identify visitors. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can easily disable Google’s conversion tracking cookie by adjusting your browser settings. By doing so, you will not be included in conversion tracking statistics.
For more information about Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking, refer to Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

To ensure its continuous update, development, and improvement, Sabrab may, at any time, make changes to this Data Protection and Privacy Policy as deemed appropriate or necessary.
